The difference between the meaning of this verb and the synonymous verb ḥrūḳ is not clear throughout MTO and MTjŠ (see Kogan 2015:491 for examples).
Jibbali
e-nḥé - to burn (JL 187)
Soqotri
néḥe - to burn (intransitive); to be hot, warm (Lexique Soqotri 264; CSOL I 624, CSOL II 551)

The verb is given in I stem. The intransitive meaning ‘to burn’ is expressed by the verb in 3 sg. m. or f. with the preposition be- introdicing the substance which is being burned (CSOL I 85). The combination di-yenáḥa is used with the adjectival meaning “warm”. The verbal root is also attested in the IV stem: enḥe ‘mettre le feu’ (Lexique Soqotri 264).
