Probably a “learned” loanword from Sumerian. The Sum. word does not seem to be attested outside lexical lists (see PSD B 190 for the references). It appears to be a genitive phrase consisting of BUR.ZI (a type of bowl) (PSD B 189) and TUN₃.BAR (of unclear interpretation).
