temmennu - foundation (CAD T 337, AHw. 1346)

Usually thought to be borrowed from Sum. temen (SLOB), but cf. Civil 2007:27 where it is listed among early Semitic loanwords in Sumerian. Cf. Ugr. tmn as a possible borrowing from Akkadian.
