quite uncertain (cf. Pardee 1997: 350), but even if ša-a-i ‘falcon, hawk’ in the Emar lexical list (Pentiuc 2001: 165) is thought to be related, it is by no means certain that the Emar word belongs to the Akkadian rather than local WS lexical stratum.
