Word of uncertain origin. See also the feminine demonstrative pronoun of the distal deixis ˀəntəkku. Compare, probably, -t- in Arb. ˀallatī ‘who, which, that (fem. sg.)’, tilka ‘that (fem. sg.)’ and in late Sabaic t- ‘who, which, that’.
