yaˁr- - kid; kid that is tied up or thrown into a pit to attract a lion or a wolf (BK 2 1630, LA V 301)

Cf. also yarˁ- ‘calf’ (BK 2 1626, Fr. IV 518), yaraˁ- (LA VIII 413), probably related with metathesis. It is worth noting that according to LA yaraˁ- means ˀawlādu baḳari l-waḥši ‘youngs of wild cows (Oryxes).
