ˁṯrb - an ingredient or medicine in the hippiatric texts (DUL 193, Watson 2007: 67)

hardly any connection with Akk. azupīru ‘a garden plant used as a spice and for medicinal purposes’. In view of Arb. ˁuṯrub- the Akkadian borrowing in Ugaritic becomes, in any case, superfluous (Kogan 2015: 361).
