Direct cognates are attested in Akk. dalāḫu 'to stir', Ugr. dlḥt 'thick, cloudy', Hbr. dlḥ 'to make turbid', Samal. dlḥ 'to stir up, to trouble; to be troubled', Off. Arm. dlḥ 'id.'. Cf. JPA dlwḥth 'fear, fright', connected with Syr. dlḥ by Sokoloff.
