šέdhɛd - to be lean, meager (meat) (Naumkin et al. 2016b:78; CSOL I 526)

The morphological background of this verb remains uncertain, its attribution to the causative-reflexive stem of *d-h-d is conjectural. In the perfect, it is said to be different from šέdhed (yešέdhed/ľišέdhɛd) ‘to wave a stick’.
