Akk. lurmû. A classical Wanderwort of unknown origin (Kaelin 2004), direct borrowing from Akkadian into Ugaritic is rather improbable (Kogan 2015: 359).
very uncertain, connection with Akk. lezû (translated ‘to continue, to persist’ in CAD L 163) advocated by Watson (2007: 92), let alone a borrowing from it, is highly unlikely (Ford 2002b: 189‒190)
