*ˀVnāš- - man (Fronzaroli 1964: 19, 37, 50; Kogan 2011: 232)

PArm
*ˀVnāš- - man (Kogan 2015:392)
Application of PCS (or PWS) *ˀVnāš- to one single individual (“person,” “(some)one”) – to some extent combined with the generic sense “mankind” and the collective meaning “people” – is a highly peculiar Aramaic feature with no obvious precedents elsewhere in Semitic. However, see Tgr. ˀənas ‘man’, Sab. Min. Qat. ˀns₁ (SD 6, LM 6, LIQ 13).
