PS

*šlm - to be in peace (HALOT 1534)

Akkadian
salīmu - peace (CAD S 100; AHw. 1015)
Ugaritic
šlm - to be well, feel well, be in peace (DUL 817)
Ugaritic
tšlm - redemption, ransom (DUL 882)

Kogan 2015:358: Since the meaning “to deliver, to pay” is well attested for the reflexes of *šlm in a variety of WS languages (HALOT 1534 and elsewhere), tšlm is not to be considered a borrowing from Akk. tašlimtu ‘payment’ (CAD T 290), contra Watson 2007:111.
