Var. ˀatta (TED 1467).
Used only as a vocative form (by contrast with the innovative form nəssəka < *nafsə-kā used as a neutral 2 sg. m. pronoun, see Kogan 2009:66).
The loss of -n- (apparently, resulting from assimilation with the further reduction *ˀanta > *ˀatta > atä) is unusual for EthS and remains to be explained (Bulakh–Kogan 2013b:96). Compare Tna. ˀanta with its variant ˀatta.
