*gVrgVr-at- - throat (SED I No. 102; Kogan 2011: 216)

A descriptive nominal root. In Arb. and MSA, only derived verbs are preserved: Arb. ǯrǯr ‘avaler, boire en faisant entendre un glouglou’ (to swallow; to drink making a gurgling sound) [BK 1 274]; Jib. egɛrgér ‘to gurgle’ [JL 78]

Akkadian
si(g)gaggurītu, singang/urītu - throat (AHw. 1039)
Note that in [CAD s 284] it is translated as ‘part of the foot’ with the following comment: “The restoration ZI.IN.GI in Hh. and Hg. assumes that the Akk. word incorporates the Sum. element” (ZI.IN.GI ‘Knöcheľ (’ankle’) [IK 1187], apud [AHw. 488]). The reading of this word as gaggurītu in [CAD g 9] is rejected in [CAD s 284].
