uncertain whether this root was present in Phoenician: both the reading ytlnn and
the meaning ‘to spend the night’ suggested in DNWSI 575 (and elsewhere) for
KAI 24:10 are problematic (Tropper 1993a:39‒41)
The 1st form occurs in Dioscurides as a part of a plant name λασουναφ as an equivalent of Gr. βούγλωσσον. The 2nd one (also a plant name) is attested in Pseudo Apulei Platonici Herbarius as lasimsaph.
