The verb appears mostly in preposition to the main verb, but the reverse word order is also possible:
wa-ḳaˁ kánaḥ díˀʸheʰ šégreʰ ‘And he started again to ask the riddle of his tree’ (CSOL II 4:15)
With verbs of motion: 1:30, 17:16, 25:8; otherwise: 12:11
ḷe-ker ‘on, over, through, along’
With the imperfect (‘in order that’); with the negative jussive (‘lest’)
