kɛf - side, proximity (Kogan 2015:429)

In the expression ˀid kaf id máˁbher ‘gegen Felsen hin’ (Müller 1905:280), curiously reminiscent of Akk. kāpu ša šadî. According to Soqotrian informants, kɛf means ‘side, proximity’.
