The etymology of Proto-EthS *ḥwr ‘to go’ remains uncertain as none of the alternatives mentioned in CDG 249‒250 can be considered fully satisfactory.
The etymology of Proto-EthS *ḥzl ‘to carry’ is uncertain. Shall one tentatively compare Arb. ḥaḏl- = ḥuǯzatu l- ˀizāri wa-l-qamīṣi wa-ṭarafuhu (LA 11 179), from an original meaning “place of carrying”?
Possibly related to PS *ḥabal- 'foetus, umbilical cord', see SED I No. 110
