PWS
*gbˀ - to return
(Kogan 2015: 221 note 663)
The root is likely related to *ganb- ‘side and back of torso’ (SED I No. 85).
Though traditionally identified with Sem. *gbb ‘to be bent’ ([CDG 177], [DRS
94]), the present root is rather influenced by, than related to, the latter.
Related to *gabb(-at)- (with -h serving as a triconsonantizer?).
PWS
*gbl - to be massive, solid
(Kogan 2015: 426 note 1223)
PWS
*gbn - to be curved, bowed, hunchback
(SED I No. 67; CDG 178; Kogan 2015: 208, 224)
Rather to be separated from Sem. *gbr ‘to make; to force; be strong’ [CDG 178],
[HALOT 175]
PWS
*gbṯ - hump (of an animal)
(SED I No. 82; Kogan 2011: 230)
PWS
*gd - to be good, lucky, excellent
(Kogan 2015: 191, Kogan 2015: 33, DRS 99‒100, 105‒106)
biconsonantal element
Possibly related to *gVd-at- with suffixed -l.
PWS
*gdy - to cut
(DRS 100‒101)
